Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken in the city of Puerro Vallarta in Mexico.

Time

It was arrownd 20:00 hours, when the sun was finishing seting in the horizon.

Lighting

I like to take pictures after the sunset, because the sky tones in colors truly wonderful thanks to the sparkling light that the sun leaves behind in the dusk, and its right there the perfect moment to capture a good image, taking advantage of those warm colours.

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS 60D Lens: EF-S18-135mm Triploid: Ravelli Density filter neutral.

Inspiration

with out a doubt what inspires me most about photography, is discovering new challenges, new places, exceptional areas, i enjoy contemplating a spectacular place and creating my own composition. As for this picture, i was inspired by the place, wich is one of my favorite places in Puerto Vallarta, the weather there is nice, and the sunset is full of life, as soon as the sun starts to set you can really appreciate the scenery.

Editing

Yes, as far as the modifications of my RAW file, [adjusting] the tones of colours and the intensity. (Tones and intensity of the colours)

In my camera bag

Besides from the equipment i have mention, i always cary with me an( extra SD card) SD extra card, a plastic protector for my camera, for those splashes of water the waves leave, i also take my sandals so i dont want my shoes, i use a small towel to clean my lens from any drop and another towel for me in case of being caught by a wave, i always consider the security of my equipment for a top performance

Feedback

The advice i give to my other colleagues is always have a reference from another photographer that caught your attention the most, more so when going to create a similar picture, with your own style of course. Also, its important to get rid of the fear, you gotta risk everything for that good picture, be intrepid and cunning, until you get that majestic shot you've longing for, and share that great moment with the world.
