I took this photo at Wakulla Springs State Park on one of the early morning boat toursTime
This would have been very early about 8:30 am.Lighting
The early morning light on the river is usually my favorite and there was some slight mist in the air which gave this little "cove" like area a kind of magical feeling.Equipment
I used a canon t3i with the 300mm lens. No tripod as we were on a boat.Inspiration
I've gotten other great photos in this approximate area so i am always looking to see what wildlife might be in the area that would make the landscaping pop or give a feel to it.Editing
I try to do as little post processing as possible when doing nature photos because mother nature can speak for herself. I did some slight contrasting and just a slight color saturationIn my camera bag

Be patient, wildlife doesn't appear on schedule and you may find a place you like but you just have to keep going back sometimes before something decides to make an appearance.
