I like the combination of dark and light - with the glow and droplets on the red apple - well done, Carlos!

Behind The Lens
Location
In a small studio that I build in my basement.Time
It was about noon after lunch .Lighting
The main source of light are two photographic lamp (soft white) mounted on a light stand with umbrellas and a black muslin fabric for the background. I do not remember if I used a background light .Equipment
I used a Canon Rebel T2I, Canon 50mm lens with image stabilizer and two umbrella lights.Inspiration
By those day I meet a new member of VieBug her name is Maureen from Arizona, she saw one of my pictures of a book with Niagara Fall on it cover so she was asking me on how I did it. I told her how to and in a few days she posted a picture of a book with a Pear in the cover. Next day I went to the Market and got a bunch of fruits and played around with the idea. Took several shot with different setting and moving light to different locations until I get the perfect one.Editing
edited the photo in Lightroom for color enhance also use Nik plugin with Photoshop for softness. In my camera bag
You can find in my bag, a Canon Rebel, Canon 18-55 mm lens, Canon zoom lens 75-300 mm, Canon macro EF lens 100 mm 1:2.8 USM. Macro led ring light various filters and a small glycerin spray bottle.Feedback
you are interesting of trying the same shot keep in mind that I used a ten second speed exposure and -4 steps to get a very dark background and ISO 100 to minimize grain. It is a good idea to experiments with light and exposures.
