Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Croatia, The National Park KRKA in July of 2012. I'd never seen so many waterfalls before so it was a challenge to shoot the falling water and show the beauty of the nature the same time.

Time

It was the midday when the sun is right up above your head and some subjects may seem overlighten.

Lighting

Everything was very bright that day and the water seemed really transparent. I tried to show the lights playing with the shadows.

Equipment

Usually I take such photos with my compact camera Pentax Optio A20. It has a very good option of hand balance of white and color rendering close to natural.

Inspiration

Nature is the greatest artist and creator in the world. I just wanted to fix the beauty of this landscape.

Editing

A little brightness and contrast edition. I prefer edit as little as possible.

2 compact cameras - Pentax Optio A20 and Pentax Espio 120mi.

Feedback

Bright light and higher place to fix the camera; green trees will make a nice shadowed frame around the waterfall and underlight the snowwhite water drops.
