Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken in the beach of Bali Island, Indonesia. I think every photographer who is passionate about landscapes should visit this paradise at least once in their life time.Time
It was around 6.30 am in the morning when the sun just started to appear over the sea. You should walk along the Bali beach during the sunrise, you will feel like walking through a painting.Lighting
The whole beach was shining gold lit by the sunlight. I used the natural lighting.Equipment
I used a Fujifilm X-100 camera. I didn't use any other accessories. This was just one of the many snaps that I made while walking through the beach.Inspiration
To be frank I have known nothing about photography when I took this photo in Bali. The feed back I received for my compositions in the pictures I took in Bali, inspired me to learn photography. I realised the photographic talent in me only after this. I took all these pictures in an automatic mode in the camera since i was not aware of the camera settings at that time.Editing
I did a mild post-processing in the picture. I reduced the exposure little in order to give a pleasant effect on the seaside view. I increased the saturation little to enhance the sunlit effect. I played a little with the levels too. I increased the blacks and reduced the white a bit.In my camera bag
At the time when i took this picture i had nothing except my Fujifilm X-100.Feedback
I would like to make a statement like the one in the movie Ratatouille. Yes, Anyone can be a photographer. Talents can bud from any source. You will realise the photographic talent in you when you explore things. Its not about the type of camera or the equipments, its all about how you see the world!
