Location
I took this picture in Marina di Pisa, TuscanyTime
during a sunset in AugustLighting
I tried to hide that part of the sun was still too high to try to reproduce a natural light without creating too dark areas caused by backlighting.Equipment
Nikon D3200, Tokina 11-16mm f / 2.8, Manfrotto 055XPROB and a ND filter 1000XInspiration
I had already planned the scene in my mind, the stones stacked in that way, the location .. I wanted to take advantage of the natural light, I also had a bit of luck because the clouds, with the long exposure, helped me to compose the photo in dynamicallyEditing
With photoshop I perfected the composition of the photo and perfectly straightened the horizon, open the shadows and that's all.In my camera bag
My kit usually includes: the Nikon D3200, Tokina 11-16mm, Nikkor 50mm f / 1.4 G, nikkor 105mm f / 2.8, ND filters, a tripod (Manfrotto 055XPROB with Junior Geared Head), lens cleaning kit, a torch, multipurpose kit, a remote control, Plamp, spare batteries, spare memory cardFeedback
I think long exposures make it more appealing a photograph,I use this technique often. Also, do not just take a picture of a sunset, we must build a scene mode according to the weather conditions that nature offers us. The clouds, in this case, by the technique of long exposure, form a kind of crown around the scene, a frame almost. And never stop at the first attempt!
