Location
Near Trasimeno lake, there is a wonderful place full of damselfliesTime
It was on early morning, about 7 am.Lighting
With macro captures we need a really soft light, so it's better shooting before sunrise.Equipment
I used a Nikon d3200, a nikkor 105mm f2.8 and a tripod with a remote control.Inspiration
I love macro pictures, and that's my first capture!Editing
With photoshop cs6 I've adjusted the simmetry of the subject and I've adjusted the temperature, I love warm pictures. In my camera bag
My kit usually includes: the Nikon D750 , Tokina 11-16mm, Nikkor 50mm f / 1.4 G, nikkor 105mm f / 2.8, nikkor 24-120 f.4, Tamron 70-300, ND filters, a tripod (Manfrotto 055XPROB with Junior Geared Head), lens cleaning kit, a torch, multipurpose kit, a remote control, Plamp, spare batteries, spare memory cardFeedback
We need to have a big patience and we have to wake up very early in the morning, beacuse the light it's better and the insects are very collaborative: they stay still capturing the first warm rays of light. It's also very important a tripod with a remote control to prevent shake.
