This picture was taken at my mother in-laws farm. I have not been taught photography I am learning as I go.Time
this is a special picture to me. This cat was the sweetest thing ever she was just laying there looking so sweet and lovely Then two months later she got ran over by someone and was put down. I will always love this picture and will never forget that darling cat.Lighting
I was hoping she would hold still because the light was perfect and she was just waking up. The sun was a nice warm light coming throw the window and shone on her light fur nicely.Equipment
I shot this picture with a Nikon p510. no other equipment was used for this shot.Inspiration
The light was perfect when I went into the back porch and then she looked at me with that sleepy " hey what's up " look. I have always been looking for a nice cat picture to add to my collection.Editing

In my camera bag I usually carry two cameras with me. I have just recently up graded my Nikon p510 to the Nikon p600 and I also carry a Olympus TG-830 tough cam with me for all the water shots I like to get. Plus it is always great to have a spare camera with you.Feedback
When trying to capture a shot of any animal try to catch them off guard and you will get that great shot. Plus check windows for nice light at anytime of the day.
