This photo was taken on the Beach in Ft Lauderdale.Time
this was a night shot around 1100 pm as a storm was moving in. I had actually set out to photograph turtles hatching, however we could not find a turtle nest that was active. so I turned to the sky instead.Lighting
there was no lighting except for natural lighting. this was a long exposure approx 8sec. with aperture of f11Equipment
I used a tripod along with a shutter remote.Inspiration
lightning is pretty mysterious, lightning creates some awesome patterns. after going through the images and noticing the Double strike I knew that this was an awesome capture.Editing
