Behind The Lens
Location
It was taken at The Museum of Appalachia in Tennessee. My family and I were coming back home from Florida. The Museum of Appalachia, located in Norris, Tennessee, is a living history museum. There is also a cabin that belongs to the parents of Mark Twain.Time
As I remember it was around 2pm.Lighting
The Sun was so strong, but I can’t say “I didn’t want or need it†because it gave the grass a strong green color and the contrast caused by the shadow of the trees makes this a beautiful picture.Equipment
I used my Canon 6D, a SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 TAMRON lens. I didn’t use any other equipment (tripod, flash, etc.)Inspiration
It was a beautiful sunny day and the trees caused shadows that made the photographs look perfect. I have always loved wildlife and landscape photography so whenever I have free time I spend it hiking and photographing.Editing
Yes, I have increased the brightness a little bit and the saturation (not too much)In my camera bag
I have a Canon 6D, a SP 70-300mm f4-5.6 TAMRON lens, a Canon EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 IS USM, a Canon EF 24-105mm 1:4 L IS USM, a Flash Speedlite430EX II, a remote controller-Phottix TR-90 and a ND filter.Feedback
All I got to say to other photographers is to be patient and wait for the perfect moment. Maybe your first shot will not be as you want to, but don’t give up. It’s your camera and don’t be afraid of it. I tried a lot of times to take this photo and I didn’t like most of them, but finally I did it. Just don’t give up on something that you think it’s worth it.
