Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in Stevensville ON, We had been visiting a friend and heard this train before we was it (No lights or horns) I had just brought the camera up when I took this shot, I am self taught but will be taking a course in the winter.

Time

I think this was taken around 4 or 5pm, as an amatuer I have been taking pictures of different things that capture my attention and the train was just one that I thought turned out rather well

Lighting

This was all natural light, no flash which is why it surprised me as to how well it turned out

Equipment

I use a Canon 60D, Lens 18-200mm zoomand was hand held when taken

Inspiration

I have been using every oppertunity to practice the different things that have learned in the magazines and online

Editing

I have used Photoshop but now use Lihgtroom 11 just to bring out the colours that I see

In my camera bag

My Canon 60D Prime Lens 18-200mm, speedlite flash seveal cards extra batteries

Feedback

To try and get something simalar would mean learning the train schedules and sitting in wait, will be trying to get a train crashing through the snow so far no luck
