Location
This photo was taken in the South Loop, Chicago. I was taking the long way home after school, just trying to be inspired by life around me. Chicago is a city that has this constant energy, it never stops, but its very inspiring.Time
This photo was taken on a rainy, fall afternoon. It was really a dark, gloomy day with very little car or foot traffic.Lighting
I love to shoot natural light, street photography. This photo perfectly captures the day. It was dark and overcast and the lighting perfectly captures it.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon Rebel film camera that I got in high school, and the basic kit lens.Inspiration
I remember walking around the corner and seeing this guy walking towards me. I didnt really think about it, I just picked up my camera and took a photo. At that exact moment, a girl with a furry coat hood walked in front of me. In a way it frames the guy in the photo perfectly.Editing
This was shot on film while I was taking a photography and darkroom class. I developed the film and the photo in the darkroom. In my camera bag
I usually carry my Canon t3i and I change up the lens every so often. I like this camera, I know it like the back of my hand. Its also an older camera, so Im not afraid of hurting it, hah!Feedback
Just go out and enjoy life. If you see something interesting, dont think about it. Just take a photo exactly how you see it. You cant go wrong.
