Thanks. I was very excited when I found it. The whole motel is scattered with old kitsch!

I love your artistic eye. You seem to find hidden treasures in everything. Very cool!

Location
This decaying champion was located in front of a tiny beach motel on Sunset Beach in Indian rocks Florida. The motel is randomly decorated to the point of utter confusion with a myriad of tiny trinkets and forgotten toys making this scene a must-view for curious-minded souls.Time
This image was captured in the latter afternoon, about an hour before the start of sunset.Lighting
The sun was dipped low in the sky allowing me to capture a slight hint of pink from the reflection off the beach across the street.Equipment
This was shot on aCanon Rebel T3 with a 18-55mm Lens.Inspiration
I was studying the HDR process and felt that the sun and sand battered texture of the old decaying paint would be a perfect experiment for the process. I also just really love antique automobiles.Editing
I tool a series of 3 pictures at different aperture settings and combined them in Photoshop, then created a number of layers intensifying the contrast, saturation, etc and blended them to enhance the details in this image. In my camera bag
I almost exclusively only shoot with just my camera and 18-55mm lens. I also have a 75 300 lens and then I have used on occasion but I like getting up close and personal with my subjects. I do have a few macro lenses that I also play around with and enjoy.Feedback
I like to get close. Most people see items from a distance, taking in the whole object to form an image in their mind. Help them stop and look at things from a different angle or in smaller segments than they would normally pay attention to.
