Behind The Lens

Location
The Photo was taken at my home in my Bath tub.
Time
At around 1pm.
Lighting
I used one Studio light With a large piece of tracing paper as a modifier and one white reflector.
Equipment
I used a Lencarta Smartflash 2 as my main light. For the camera I used the Canon 6d with a Canon 24-105mm f4 lens attached to it.
Inspiration
I had this sort of idea for quite some time in my head. originally I wanted to use Milk but later decided to go with water based white paint.
Editing
I spent quite a bit of time on this one in Photoshop Elements 12. In this image I had a lot of white paint in the face and one the hands and fingers which had to be corrected. and the some skin smoothening.
In my camera bag
Normally I use my Canon 6d with the Canon 24-105mm f4 and my Yongnuo Flashgun. A tripod and a Lee Big Stopper.
Feedback
Plan ahead. Take notes. Think about what you need to make your model comfortable in such an environment. for example we used a swimming cap, earplugs and warm water. I had another female assistant with me as well. Try visualize your outcome and know what you would be able to do in Photoshop.
