Location
The photo was taken prior to a wedding in which I was hired. Im a wedding and a landscape photographer.Time
I remember I woke up early that day to get to the hotel where the ceremony would be, this photo was part of the engagement session. Initially I had some problems for the composition of the rings, because where are the base was not quite straight and this caused the rings fall. I made it on June 23, 2014 at approximately 10 am.Lighting
Use an external flash with softbox at 45 degrees for illuminating the rings, that to respect lighting in the background, and both (background and rings) to kept in balance.Equipment
It was captured with a Canon EOS REBEL T3i, 18-55 lens, tripod, Yongnuo flash yn 560 iii manual. DOF: 20 mm, Speed: 1/200 s, Aperture: F/9, ISO: 100Inspiration
The true, the passion, and love... I wanted to capture the unity and strength that symbolized their marriage.Editing
I had to develop the raw 3 times (one for the wood base one for the sky and another for the water,) to correct the White balance. Then I proceeded to merge the 3 raws using masks. In my camera bag
The first thing I always pack is my canon 50 mm 1.8, the second one is my Canon Ef 75-300 mm f/4-5.6 III and the third one is my kit lens Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ll, my body camera is the Canon t3i, also i have my nd filter for long long exposure pictures, a Canon canon 430ex ii speedlight.Feedback
Make the photography as early as possible, since it is somewhat uncomfortable for couples when the sun is above, have a tripod, also a wizard to guide and illuminate the scene well.
