Love how picture book this is! Even better if that tiny piece of dock and shrub get cropped out of the bottom - my eye got drawn there involuntarily. Silly, wandering eye

Location
The Photo was taken in my lovely small town Mos?dis, near water dam. Mos?dis has stones museum and stones park. There is Beautiful Church. This small town is known in Europe by his stones. In Klaip?da Region, Skuodas disctrict (Skuodo rajonas), Lithuania (Lietuva). It is in Europe, in Baltic States. Mosedis has the Museum of Rare Stones stores rich collections of unique stones of Lithuania. Search in google for more: Vaclovas Intas museum of rare stones - Lithuania. The collection of more than 150 000 stones and pebbles is exposed, including rock boulders from the Baltic region, widespread in the North, East, Middle and West Lithuania. The biggest stone of the Museum weighs 50 tons, the smallest hardly some grams. The Museum also accumulates tree-sections from trees growing in Lithuania.Time
This is one of my favourite images. I was walking in the park, near water dam, when I the reflection in the water. It was 11:56 AM in October month, one of the favourite months in the year to take photographs. When the leaves of trees changes colour, that is the beauty. There was no wind, in the sky was beautiful clouds.Lighting
The sun has to enlighten the forest or the other object that you are photographing. Reflections are the best time to shoot in the evening or morning, when the sun is not high. The Clouds makes photo better. There has to be no wind. There has to be sunny day, not cloudy without the sun.Equipment
My model was Canon EOS 400D , 10mp (In other countries named Digital Rebel XTi). Settings were: F/5.6 , 1/160 sec, ISO 100, 51mm , no flash,no tripod, AV mode, white balance auto. Lens were: kit 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6.Inspiration
I was photographing a model in small town Mos?dis. I was taking photos in the Mos?dis Stones Park, we were making the most of photo shoot in this park. Later we thought that we can go near the water dam in other place. When we were there, we got beautiful sun lightning, water was calm, no wind for making waves. The sun made Enlightenment of the forest. I thought in my mind - that could be a good photograph. Then I took a photo of that beauty. Mos?dis is my one of favorite and beautiful places to take photos.Editing
I like HDR photography. I am using HDR software to make photos better. When the photo looks HDR, you need to reducing Noise from photo. I have pocket camera Canon, when I am shooting landscape I use vibrant color setting with AV Mode. Sometimes when I see that the picture is good, I only add more contrast. I am photographing more jpg format. Now I have found RAW format. I shoot Jpg+Raw. If the photo is good in jpg - then I am uploading jpg photo.In my camera bag
My favorite camera is Canon Powershot S95, not new but good. I use DSLR camera more for better portraits. Sometimes I am taking photographs of landscape with my dslr Canon Eos 1100D. Now I am photographing with always on CPL filter (Polarizing filter) for darker blue clouds. In shade I am using flash in build, sometimes I use china company Flash Yongnuo yn460 speedlite with Diffuser. In my bag I normally have 3 filters: 0.9 Neutral Density filter (3 stops). One CPL filter (Polarizing filter), Canon Eos 1100D + 18-55 IS + one more lens 50mm F/1.8, lens hood. Lens Cleaning Pen. Now I am using little Huawei P9 Lite photo, quite good for landscape (in good lightning). I also bought this year drone Dji Phantom 3 Standart. When I have time I am making photos with drone. Look for clouds. If there is no clouds I won't go photographing. Look for sun, I love sunny days. Best time for good photos are morning and evening. I also like shoot in the middle of day or later in 4-5 PM. Look for mist, photos with mist looks better. Keep learning. Read Scott Kelby all 5 books digital photography and try it. Read magazines about photography, go out and shoot, read theory- go practice. The theory without practice is nothing, don't waste your time with only theory, go shooting. Try new effects, try something new. Study best photographers works. Use rule of thirds, use flash during the day, read manual of your camera, use lower ISO, invest time in photography books, not new lens or camera, don’t spend too much time post-processing. If you don't have any camera, you can take pictures with your phone. Nowadays there are good cameras in phones. I remember I have taken one quite good photo with 2mp phone camera, but only one. Shoot least with 5mp phone camera, I have some quite good photos with nokia c5-03. But It will be better 8mp camera. Read reviews, what camera are good then buy it if you need it. Talking about cameras, shoot at least 10mp cameras. I like canon. You can look for good pocket cameras for landscape Powershot S95,S100,S110,S120. G9-G16. You can buy it used, If there are no new cameras. Also look for canon g3 x, g5 x, g9x, G7 X Mark II series, also sony RX100 series. Also look for canon and nikon DSLR.
