I took my grandson, and my camera fishing at a local pond, and as we walked around looking for a good place to sit and fish we noticed this little guy just chilling fairly close to the edge. He seemed to like his picture being taken.Time
Our fishing adventure was spur of the moment and it was about 11am when we found our green friend.Lighting
I am not one to think about too many technical details when I am out shooting pictures, and this one was just the right time of day and good luck.Equipment

My camera goes everywhere I go and if I remember I will grab a tri-pod, but normally it is just me and my camera.Feedback
You need to just be. do not go out looking for a picture just go out and let them find you. go outside just to enjoy the day and once you get wrapped up in the fun of it all, the perfect shot will be there. It is all about having fun.
