One of the most familiar, historic fund-raising opportunities is found in THE RACE. Running a race using our limbs is symbolic to the race to find a cure for a plethora of life threatening diseases. By extending ourselves physically- -sometimes experiencing pain while we profess our dedication, our love for a special person in our life, somewhere in our soul we feel as though we've suffered alongside them. Using the strength of our legs, heart, and mind...we can achieve fund raising dollars that are parlayed into the specific disease we are running for. In the hope that our efforts will either directly or indirectly help someone overcome the disease they've been burdened with or contribute to finding a cure. In the end isn't that our greatest attribute when battling a disease? HOPE!
