I made use of the lamps and lights in the room that gave off a warm glow.Equipment
I hand-held my camera as I looked up into my light shade. I love the iridescence and colours of the suspended butterflies.Inspiration
The glittery effect on the butterflies. I like anything shiny or glittery. The pink and purple butterflies are iridescent and that always draws my eye.Editing
I used HDR to get that more intense dynamic effect. The colours popped anyway, so kept them as they were.In my camera bag

Just keep looking for an unusual angle, artistic forms/shapes and a certain uniqueness. I'm always drawn to colours, shapes, patterns and textures.
