The Poppy line

This was taken at North Norfolk's railway, The poppy line, I had this image in my mind before setting off for the days event.
I was allowed on the side line as a photographer as long as i had the orange safety vest on and paid £10 for the privilege, it was well worth every penny.
This shot was technically difficult in the respect i had a moving subject and was attempting to produce a HDR image from it.
My first thoughts were if i was to achieve this image with a train moving I would need a high enough shutter speed to take 3 different exposures extremely quicK, I also needed to find the uphill section where the steam Train would have to struggle a little to produce more steam and go slow, this helped with the 3 exposures.
This shot went into there magazine that they produce for each event they have.
The idea behind this shot was to produce a photo that looked like a painting.
