Mountain lakes are always serene and peaceful places. When you are surrounded by nothing but the sounds of the birds and breeze flowing through the trees, then you can find comforting relaxation. Finch Lake is only a five mile hike from its trail head in the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park, but few people take the time to visit this pristine mountain gem. Completely surrounded by the forest, the lake is a perfect place to eat a meal or simply enjoy nature.
