Om Mani Padme Hum

Captured in Patan’s Durbar Square, located in the Kathmandu Valley. Prayer wheels line Kwa Bahal, the “Golden Temple,” a three storey golden pagoda of Lokeshwor (Lord Buddha.) Inside the monastery, we were encouraged to spin all the prayer wheels to accumulate merit, purify delusions and gain good luck while reciting the ancient mantra inscribed “om mani padme hum.”
