I was going to say it looks like some of our rugged coastline downunder....and then I read that it was indeed our country! Havn't been here myself but will get there one day. Beautiful view. Great pic.

Location
I took this photo opposite the infamous Twelve Apostles site in Victoria,Australia on Christmas day.Time
I believe this was taken before midday, it was a busy day and after I took many landscapes I tried to take portraits and a family photo but the sun was high by that time and we then went had lunch.Lighting
All natural lighting used as it was a beautiful Summer day with the mid morning light.Equipment
I used my Sony NEX 3 mirrorless with standard zoom lens, handheld.Inspiration
I was very taken by the colours of the water and wanted to capture it. My camera was still very new to me so I played with the ability to take HDR imaging.Editing
None, HDR in camera only.In my camera bag
I have two Sony mirror less cameras, one is the NEX 3 and the other is the Alpha a5000. I use the former the most especially indoors and in the evenings with a Canon 50mm 1.2. Also in my camera bag is my smallest lens, the Pentax -110 and a spare battery. I use Eye-fi memory cards for ease of upload because I tend to use a tablet for internet use. When travelling I use a bigger camera bag as well which holds filters, adapters and other lenses.Feedback
Even though I may have an idea in mind when I photograph, I prefer to be a candid photographer and enjoy surprise captures like this. Knowing your camera or having a willingness to play around and learn, take chances and see what happens is my advice.
