Tips and pointers project: To get a Marilyn Monroe Sleepy eyes type of look when photographing a model have them close their eyes, look down and then ask them to look up. Snap the shot the instant they look up the pupils will not be as dilated from the light and there is a naturally sultry look that a occurs without it looking fake. This especially works well for non experienced models that are not aware of the expressions they are making and if they look natural or not. (and perhaps may be making some odd ones because they have little experience.I posted 3 more examples of this within the tips and pointers project.
