I can't remember what time of day this was, it was an indoor shot, and I would have to look back on the EXIF information to find it.Lighting
I used strobes, but they were refreshing when this magic moment happened, so the image was a little dark. I had to correct in post.Equipment

Now I carry my 7D EF 24-105, EF70-300mm IS, EF-s 10-18mm IS, 430ex flash. Mainly this is what I have with me at all times, which covers most of what I shoot. I may sometimes bring out my Nikkor 55mm Micro lens for Macro shots with my ring light, depending on where I am going.Feedback
With kids and pets keep your eye on them at all times. Magical moments happen in a flash and are gone, so be ready to fire of a number of shots . Have your camera in burst mode, for that reason.
