Location
This Photo was taken at Warrington's historic walking day 2014. I am a self taught photographer so every photo I take is a new lesson for me.Time
This Photo was taken on June 27th 2014 midday.Lighting
The lighting I used, was provided by mother nature.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon Eos 1000D, 55-250 lens. No other equipment needed.Inspiration
I took part in warrington walking day many times as a child, now all grown up I wanted to photograph the event myself.Editing
I decided I wanted to learn how to produce a high contrasted black and white image. By using photoshop I turned the image to black and white. Then used the sliders to change the exposure, whites and blacks. In my camera bag
Obviously my Canon 1000d. As a learner I got into the habit of packing everything when I go for a shoot. Then I came very reliant on my 55-250 telephoto lens. I have now decided I would just take one lens out with me and switch it each month. Lenses I have are; 55mm lens, 55-250mm telephoto zoom and a lens baby composure with macro lens.Feedback
Take a colour photo of your subject in raw mode. in Photoshop to image to black and weight, then move the sliders on black, white and exposure to get the desired effect.
