Music has been rooted deep in my soul from birth. Fond memories of mom (in her cats eye glasses, stylish headband and pedal pushers) flitting around the house on Saturday mornings...doing chores and dancing to Connie Stevens and " Lipstick on Her Collar" fill my head.Other times it was the radio in the car bopping to Boots Randolph or Chet Atkins and one of my fave...Johnny Cash (who,as fate would have it, in my culinary career I had the honor of planning, shopping, cooking and serving Johnny and June Carter Cash dinner prior to a performance in Elgin,Il) I furthered my passion for music by playing flute since the age of 8, and I was sure to introduce my children to a plethora of genres of music. Joyfully I can tell you that their passions for music motivated THEM to introduce ME to further genres as the years have moved forward. Any chance I can get to be with musicians and capture their talent-ability-grace and creative passion....consider me there!
