This photo was taken on a walk around an urban lake in Edmonton. Beaumaris Lake is one of my favorite photography walks in the city.Time

Canon 70D, Canon 100-400 telephoto lens.Inspiration
This gosling did not seem to mind sitting and having its photo taken. Fortunately with the telephoto lens, I could get the shot from a distance away, not startling the young thing.Editing
I did a small bit of tweaking in lightroom, but not much at all.In my camera bag
I carry my canon 6D, a portrait lens and a macro lens, as well as my telephoto. I will add or change to other lenses if I am off to do a specific shoot that requires them. I will also add a flash if I know I will be indoors, or shooting flowers in a shady spot.Feedback
Be patient, and wait for the subject to have just the right pose.
