Located in Big Sky, Montana, this is the very top of Lone Peak. Mountain Goats and tiny chipmunks are the only creatures you see at this height, especially at this time of year!
I took this photo in the middle of July. Even though the temperature in Big Sky was around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, the summit was still covered with packed in snow.
Far in the distance, peeking through the clouds you can see a bit of the surrounding hills and mountains that surround the massive 11,166 ft earthen castle....
