Location
The photo was taken in my home town of Rexburg, Idaho outside the Rexburg Stake Tabernacle Building.Time
This was shot close to sunset for that golden hour light. I had a deadline to meet the following morning so we had to make good use of our time in finding the location and beat the sunset.Lighting
I am really proud to say that this is all natural lighting. No flash or enhancements.Equipment
This was shot with a mirrorless camera, the Canon EOS M, no other equipment was used.Inspiration
Well it's kind of a funny story I was in a photography class at the time and could not get an A to save my life! Until I started taking pictures featuring my fiancé that is. My teacher was so impressed with the portraits I was taking that I started taking pictures of only her and my grades kept getting better because of it.Editing
Photoshop is a passion of mine, for this image I did a little bit of clean up but I was very proud of how this image came out straight from camera. In my camera bag
Camera, 18-55 Stock Lens, 24-105 mm, extra batteries and charger, 4 x 32gb SD cards, lens cleaner, plastic crystal (makes cool flares in the lens), colored markers, plastic bags, rubber bands (coloring plastic bags and attaching them to the lens with rubber bands creates cool in camera filters) vaseline (this can give you great in camera blur effects).Feedback
My favorite time to shoot is early morning sunrise or sunset, yes it can be hard to wake up or it can be difficult to work with the time restraints but just getting one great image can make it all worth it.
