Lago del Turano (Latin Tolenus) is a man made lake in the Province of Rieti, Lazio, Italy. At an elevation of 536 m A view across the lake in the dark of night. Despite being only 1 hour from Rome this lake is remarkably devoid of Light pollution the moisture in the air just picking up some of the street lamps from the mountain villages. Its also a very natural looking lake despite is man made origins, fitting in with the landscape beautifully
