The first of many to come from this area, this is my first attempt at a full Milky Way Panoramic.
The tower in the shot is the watch tower to Castello Di Antuni, a castle site dating back to 1092. It sits on top of a small peak (in comparison to the surrounding peaks) and overlooks what is now a dammed lake - Lago Del Turano, some 60min east of Rome.
For those interested: It is 11 Portrait shots stitched together and edited in Lightroom.
The slight purple hue on the left side is a change in colure temperature caused by the very early stages of twilight.
