After taking many photos of bees sat on flowers I decided to try and capture one in flight. I wanted to retain some movement and no just freeze the action. I was surprised that I had to go to 1-5000sec to do that as the wings were beating so fast.

A garden would be nothing without the bees so I wanted to show their importance. They are the lifeblood so to speak.

Taken at 1-5000sec f4.0 ISO200 at 105mm
Canon 5d MkIII with a stock 24-105mm
