"Celebration" is a Hot Air Balloon, owned & piloted by Mark Enszer of Saginaw, Michigan - it was tethered to the ground. The smaller red balloon is a weather balloon which was launched to test the wind speed before the go-ahead was given for the "big boys" to launch early in the morning for their Challenge.

Timing is everything - I was able to catch the smaller red against the brilliant blue section of "Celebration".
