My hubby was in Seattle last week on business, so I tagged along. A friend packed a picnic lunch and took me up in the Olympic Mountains. Chateau Ste Michelle winery is in Washington and I got this brilliant idea that I needed a picture of the 'Washington wine' in front of a view of the 'Washington mountains'. While I was shooting, this deer not only walked into my picture, but stopped and posed for me...just exactly where I would have placed him in the picture!

Our Rainier deer are amazingly friendly and curious. I had a similar experience at the park. Be sure to carry apples, they love those.
