Phenomenal light.....the models position of her arms and legs create a beautiful fluid motion .....perfect for her to be holding that guitar!!! Absolutely brilliant and incredibly beautiful!!!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this image in my home studio August 2012

Time

The time of day was late in the evening under controlled lighting conditions.

Lighting

using directional modelling lamps. (My preferred method of lighting)

Equipment

Canon 1000D (Since upgraded) 50mm F1.8 ISO400 1/125 F11

Inspiration

I am a musician and mixing my creativity of photography with music i have an ongoing project called "Girls with Guitars"

Editing

All post processing was done using lightroom 3. The image was shot in RAW

In my camera bag

Now in my bag i have: 2x 50D 1x 24-105mm F4L 1x 70-200mm F4L 1x 50mm F1.8 2x Yongnumo Speedlite YN560III

Feedback

Learn to use manual mode. Work with light and always bear in mind the direction and intensity of the light creates the mood in a image.
