I took this photo in Italy Cross, Lunenburg Co., Nova Scotia. the lake is Wallace Lake.Time
I'm not the best writer, but here goes. I took this image at dusk, it was mid summer. There was no wind and the water was very still. The clouds above were light and very fluffy. The colour was beautiful. There was just enough light to bounce off the rocks. This is the view from our cottage. I love this spot.Lighting
The light was so beautiful I could not stop myself from taking this image. I see this often for this night was special.Equipment

There was a little post processing but not as much as you would think. The rocks needed a little help and maybe a little boost in the colour.In my camera bag
I like to travel light, mind you these days I have a better camera than I had when I took this image. I mostly carry 3 lens. 17 - 85 , 70 - 200 and a 60 macro. Of course a speed light for just in case. I do some times, carry a trypod, but not always.Feedback
Sometimes being at the right place at the time at the right moment is all you need as in this case.
