My daughter was wearing her Faerie wings while colouring in front of a back-lit window on a sunny afternoon.
I likes how the sun caught her hair, and quickly strung the little figurine up using a piece of thread.
Then using a flash to bring her features out, I took the photo and began with photoshop.
I removed the thread using a soft clone tool brush, masked the little faerie and selectively desaturated the remainder of the image, painting colour back into my daughters eyes.
