Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at Brookfield Zoo in Illinois. I am a self taught photographer and my goal that day was to highlight the growing trails. The fresh growing buds on this tree represent the future and the strength that the trail holds.Time
This photo was taken mid afternoon. The sun was bright and very warm that day. Perfect for natural light upon the usually shadowed objects among thick trees.Lighting
Natural Sunlight is by far my favorite to work with. As a photographer who is still fresh to night photo ops, I become sad when the sun finally sets each day.Equipment
I am still a novice to photography but my FujiFilm FinePix S is doing a fine job at helping me learn along the way. One day I will own a master camera, until then I will work with what I got. Hopefully it won't hold me back for too long.Inspiration
This day I was looking for growth. The green color and vibrance of the buds growing on this branch caught my attention. This bud is a very small portion of the large wooded area that someday may be large itself.Editing

I am such a novice my equipment consists of my fuji pix cam, two sets of freshly charged batteries, One small bottle of lens cleaner and one soft cloth. My collection of equipment is just beginning.Feedback
My advice for trying to capture something similiar is to look for the things you usually wouldn't look for. Look outside the box or perhaps beyond the box. What made the box anyway? A tree made the box! Trees are amazing and never two alike!!
