Location
This picture was taken in Vågå. a small village in the Norwegian mountains. The place where I was born.Time
It was taken in afternoon.Lighting
At autumn time the afternoon sun is so low, and make large shaddows.Equipment
At this picture I was using a Nikon D200 and I think I had a 10-20mm Sigma zoom. Freehand.Inspiration
I wanted a picture of the village where I was borned, with colors from the autumn.Editing
I use a process where I make a lowcontrast color picture and mix this with a (nearly HDR) highcontrast b&w copy of the same picture. This is done with layers in Photoshop, and finally I adjust saturation and vibrance. Sometimes I have to use the RAW converter a couple of times. In my camera bag
At the moment I normally bring a Nikon D800, a Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 HSM DG II, Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, Nikkor 70-200mm f 2,8 and a Tamron 90 mm macro F/2.8 DI MACRO 1:1 VC USD.Feedback
