Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Innerøya in Norway

Time

This photo was taken in the middle of the day on a sunny day in June. Anything but perfect light for portrait photography. Placed the model inside a shed, and used light / shadow that appeared where the sun shone into the shed.

Lighting

Just sunlight

Equipment

I used a Nikon D800 and a Nikon 28-300 mm lens. A combination I often use when travelling.

Inspiration

The light and shaddow in the shed inspired me to make this portraiture

Editing

Finishing in Photoshop was only correcting light and shade, and color adjustments

In my camera bag

Mostley I have a Nikon D800 and a Nikon Z6, and Nikon 12-24mm lens, Nikon 28-300mm and a Tamron 90 mm macro. Often I also bring a Sigma 150-600 mm.

Feedback

Look at the light. The light can make ordinary motives very exciting. The light is often the most important in a photo.
