Behind The Lens

Location

"This photo was taken in Boonville, Missouri on a Spring morning."

Time

"This photo was taken around 10:30 in the morning. This was a Spring/ Easter photo session of a set of 3 year old twins, I love this photo, one of my favorites.

Lighting

"This was not a planned photo, I just liked the way the sun was highlighting her hair."

Equipment

"This was shot with a Canon 6d and my 70mm - 200mm 2.8 lens."

Inspiration

" The twins had about enough of photo day but Mom wanted more. I'm not a fan of posed pictures and I remembered I brought my dog's water bucket so I grab it and said," Let's go feed the cows. " "Anja grabbed the bucket and headed for the cows. I stayed behind so I could shoot them walking away, that's when she went for the grab and story(photo) tells it all."

Editing

" I played with the shadows and highlights and split the toning for a softer warmer look".

In my camera bag

" I pack my new favorite Nikon 4ds, Nikkor 70mm-200mm 2.8, Nikkor 25mm-70mm, extra battery and extra cf cards

Feedback

" Be spontaneous!"
