Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on Beadnall Bay, in Northumberland. Beadnall is around five minutes drive from the popular tourist destination of Seahouses.

Time

It was taken around 3pm on a sunday afternoon in Autumn. So obviously the sun was low early on.

Lighting

Nope, other than post shot editing the light is all natural.

Equipment

I used my Nikon Coolpix l310 with no other accessories.

Inspiration

I was out looking for 'that one shot' and i saw the dad pulling the boat, and thought 'yeah this could work' but then i saw how low the sun was and also at the same moment i say his son. So i just thought it would be just lovely on canvas and hopefully soon i can get it put onto canvas.

Editing

Yes, i upped the exposure and lowared the highlights. The temperature and clatity were both increased slightly, along with the decreasing of the shadows.

In my camera bag

Just a spare SD card with lens cap and lens cloth. Obviously the camera whrn it isn't in use.

Feedback

Just go out, and keep a sharp eye. There are no 2 photos the exact same so just take your camera every where and keep trying. You will take the game changing photo.
