A male Halloween Pennant (Celithemis Eponina) perched at the top of a stick in the breeze on a warm summer morning in Houston, Texas, USA. The name comes from the yellow and brown (people think it is black but it is really brown) wings and how they like to perch on the end of sticks and wave in the breeze like a pennant. The red on the top of the head is what seperates the male from the female (but females can sometimes develope the red).
