Once revered as a divine flower---once imported to this country because of it's "value"........somewhere along the Dandelions journey it is no longer lamented over (should you not be of the stature to gain it's beauty for your home) Rather...people spend thousands of dollars in lethal chemicals to further BANISH it from the soils of this country. It's sad, really. I use recipes for Dandelion wine, dandelions in our salads...They're loaded in vitamins and anti-oxidants, and can be eaten from blossom to root. Now that's hard to beat! People view dandelions in their yard as a nuisance, perhaps the re-discovery of the value of DANDELIONS can be brought to the forefront through my Chef skills, coupled with my writing and photography. Dandelions time has come, again!
