I did feel intrusive into this Mother's "space"---her eyes seemed to say to me: "DO YOU MIND?" Perhaps because I am am mother, perhaps because I respect LIFE of all sizes and shapes ,but I remained fixated on this little ones gregarious feeding frenzy. I have watched this baby from the moment he arrived on this planet until this moment when he is now feeding on his own and fervently. Mom stands patiently....waiting, vigilant; as mothers do.

They are such sweet,and docile creatures; it appalls me the torture they endure across this land (with regard to meat packing plants) it makes me shudder!
