Love the quality of light here, it transforms this image. Wonderful Trudes!

Location
This photo was taken over at a place in South Australia called Port Vincent. It is a beautiful seaside town here. I just happened to be walking along with my husband and saw these beautiful flowers.Time
It was at sunset when I saw this shrub.Lighting
When I photograph I tend to always use the natural light. I hardly ever use a flash as I also do bird captures and the flash scares them.Equipment
I have two camera's, but both Canon's. My first one is the 50D, and my favourite is a 60D which I use with a Tamron 70-300mm lens.Inspiration
I am always proud in showing our native flora and fauna. These flowers here only come out once a year so it was a great opportunity to capture it in it's full potential.Editing
I did use some post processing in Adobe Lightroom, but this is really what I took.In my camera bag
My equipment, and in my bag is three lenses that I use all the time. Some people probably hate swapping and changing lenses but for me if it's for THAT shot..do it! I also pack my two trusty camera's and very importantly cleaning gear. I already have filters on my camera's set onto the lenses before I leave. I also have my timer and I carry my trusty tripod.Feedback
Try picking the time of day well. I find the natural light is very important in most of my photo's and how I angle the shots.
