Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken from the Tyne bridge in Newcastle. I'm self taught on everything to do with photography and nearly all shots are unedited.

Time

It was a while ago so I don't remember the time, but as you can see it was at night. I'd estimate maybe 21:30.

Lighting

I like to take longer exposure shots at night to draw in subtle lighting from surroundings as well as the obvious main feature like this.

Equipment

I've used 2. A Sony point n shoot camera, and a nihon d7000 with basic 70-200 lens. All shots done in manual mode.

Inspiration

Looked good at the time.

Editing

I don't think this has any processing on it. Evening and night shots rarely do for me. I occasionally move the shadow and black sliders on daytime shots but that's about it.

In my camera bag

Sony point n shoot, or nihon d7000.

Feedback

Make sure you're still and the image is in focus. Minor issues can be touched up but focus is the big thing.
