Taken at the temples of Ankhor, Cambodia. I edited this in Photoshop using a simple layer mask after converting to black and white.
My memories are of walking into a ruin and only seeing greys and blacks but the little girl's red dress caught my eye.
This is how I remember the scene - the contrast between the red and the grey.
Incidentally and interestingly, the little girl was painting her shoes in red!
