Around 5pm

Lighting

Only used outside lighting, was standing opposite the window

Equipment

Canon 500D, 50mm lens and a tripod.

Inspiration

I was doing a project for my photography course based on self portraiture and makeup

Editing

Added contrast, especially to the eyes and used a black and white effect

In my camera bag

Only my camera, I usually carry two lenses a portrait lens (40mm!) and a normal one.

Feedback

Make sure the eyes are the main point of view. Light is quite important if you want them to pop out of the picture, always aim the focus point on the eyes. This also makes the editing a lot easier as the the sharp, bright effect is already achieved
